Dr. Hildebrandt was elected as one of two CPA Representatives to APA Council for the term of 2007-2009
I am honored to be nominated to run as CPA representative to APA Council of Representatives. My goals are to build bridges between CPA and APA among its many psychologists with varied academic, practice, and organizational backgrounds. One of the important issues which APA Council approved recently was consideration of a Ph.D. as the minimum qualification for licensure. Washington State has already passed similar legislation. This guideline could eventually affect CPA’s legislative agenda. I pledge to work closely with the CPA Board on issues which affect its members in order to build consensus.

- Chair, Executive Director Search Committee, 2004
